Overly Hautz Implements New ERP System
LEBANON, OHIO April 3rd, 2013 – Overly Hautz Company, the leading North American manufacturer of motor mounting products, has launched a powerful new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, aimed at optimizing business resources and shop operations.
After consultation, Overly Hautz selected the E2 solution from software provider Shoptech. Established in 1984, Shoptech Software, is a leader in shop management software for job shops and make-to-order manufacturers. Shoptech Software is also consistently ranked one of the fastest growing companies in the United States by Inc. Magazine. Overly Hautz President, Tom Copanas, states: “By combining this strong and flexible software with our proven history we will improve our ability to provide solutions tailored to our customers’ needs and that meet the industry’s most stringent requirements.”
With the new system in place Overly Hautz is already recognizing significant advantages. The software has streamlined many administrative processes, improved communications and data sharing between management and the shop floor while reducing the Company’s reliance on hardcopy backups of project related documents such as job notes and drawings. According to Vice President, Trevor Ahlert, “Many benefits have also translated to our customers, such as, faster and more competitive project estimates, shorter production lead times on jobs, real-time job tracking and improved documentation.”
The investment in the new ERP solution poises Overly Hautz for continued growth and increased efficiencies into the future.
